I would give this campground a higher rating, if they didn’t ignore the 10:00 p.m. quite hours rule. There were 9 tents crowded into one campsite and the drunken campers blasted music and screamed profanities until 2:00 a.m.
Otherwise, the river floating was run very well. The camp store had reasonable prices. The showers were passable.
If you have to stay at Sunburst I would recommend bringing earplugs for sleeping.

I happened to be there that same weekend. I’ve been camping at Sunburst for many years. That was the 1st time that I had experienced anything like that there. I’m a repeat customer because they do tend to take care of circumstances like rowdy crowds. That group was actually removed from the site the next night. The people and staff at Sunburst are some of the best people you will find in the Ozarks. They really try hard to accommodate and take care of us while we are there. The effort is all out. I really hope you get a chance to go back and experience it like it usually is. Don’t let this one exception spoil it. Have fun and be safe on the river,
